Just a short stroll from the cathedral, this historic 12th-century property offered engaging family-friendly amenities. One memorable evening, we gathered around the wood fire in the front bar, enjoying live folk music—an unexpected treat that entertained us and provided a lovely atmosphere for connecting with each other. On an equally enjoyable note, we spent some leisurely time playing billiards, which became a fun bonding experience for the kids and us. As vegetarians, we appreciated the accommodating breakfast options, including homemade marmalade that elevated our morning toast. The staff’s friendliness and helpfulness made our stay genuinely pleasant. If you're searching for a family-friendly spot that fuses history with comfort, this place should be on your list.
